Interpretatie: als de meeste mensen eenmaal een bepaalde weg ingeslagen zijn, blijven ze die volgen, ook al leidt die zelfs weg van het gewenste en oorspronkelijk beoogde doel. Als wereld zijn we begonnen met physical distancing en niet met ventileren om daarmee corona te onderdrukken. Met de kennis van nu kunnen we inzien dat physical distancing maar matig helpt en kolossale schade aanricht zie ook hieronder , maar we gaan gewoon door.

Hij noemt ook dat de onderzoeker die 25 jaar lang onderzoek heeft gedaan naar virusoverdracht en van wie de 1,5 m komt waarbinnen grote druppels vallen, William Firth Wells, juist gezegd heeft dat besmetting van luchtwegvirussen vooral via microdruppels verloopt.
